Coach Dorothy Le Women's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coach
Dorothy started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2012. Being a smaller woman, her initial interest was to feel empowered and learn a practical form of self defense. As one year led to another, she found that Jiu Jitsu challenged her not only physically, but also mentally unlike anything before; “It’s like a never-ending puzzle you’re constantly trying to solve for.” In her classes, she hopes to support students at any stage of their Jiu Jitsu journey as well as create an environment of curiosity and exploration. She enjoys breaking down technique with students to solve the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ together. The difference is in the details, the growth is in the humility and the perseverance.
